What is the difference between Ping Eye 2 red dot and black dot?
If a player orders a new set of irons and gets a red dot (1° flat) and after some body and swing changes now fits into black dot (standard), the clubs can be sent to Ping to be bent accordingly and they will color in the dot to represent the current lie.
What is the difference between blue dot and black dot Ping irons?

What is black dot Ping?
Ping irons are well known for their quality and color coded dots which indicate the lie angles of their irons. A black dot signifies a standard lie approximately in the middle of the range of available choices, and various other colors indicate different lie angles.
What is Ping yellow dot?
Lie angles range from 3.75 degrees flat to 4.5 degrees upright in 0.75 degree increments. Keep in mind this does not mean that the lie angles have changed but it’s just that Ping has found that their blue or yellow dot lie angles fit more golfers’ swings than black dot iron sets.
